thought i might just squeeze in a little post before the start of school.

ahahaha. prelims. *smilerp* ahaha

ok.

i am studying of course, trying desperately to cram in lil bits of information which i highly suspect will have no bearing on my life at all. i mean, will all these impact me at all: how a meander is formed, how a stump is formed, how earthquakes or volcanoes come abt, how indian women are portrayed in narayan's text, dy over dx, how alkanol and alkanoic acid react to become esters? do i really need to know all these save for writing the answers out wholesale during exams?

i don't really think so.

but i suppose information like this helps to shape the mind, sharpen it, make it more developed... yeahyeah of course. or else we'll be stupid creatures. that'll be rather sad.

ok now i have something.

the new way to teach lil kids the alphabet

a for ass
c for czar
e for entertainment
g for gnash
h for hour/honour
i for idiot
k for knife/knuckle
p for phone/pneumonia
q for quay
s for sea
t for tzar
x for xenophobic

*u have to say it out =)

cool huh. poor little kids.

too beautiful ;

heh havent blogged in the longest while.
haha.

let's c. first thing first, how can USA lose to GREECE in bball? i mean, it's e US, with all the NBA powerhouses and big names, and they still can lose!? what the...
haha. but yea, greece is good. =) although i didnt watch e game, but apparently, they scored many, many 3 pointers. (accurate sia)

ok. now i shall blog abt e teacher's day celebrations.
it was be yourself day. i wore my PURPLE mickey mouse shirt n denim bermudas (heh) and because tt 4sy wanted ppl to wear a tie (for goodness knows what reason), i wore a cute tiny tie belonging to my brother when he was young. u noe, those type of small ties that come with an elastic band and reach to about half of your torso. yupp. basically byd was quite boring in sc. there weren't many strange costumes or get-ups. perhaps you can consider vicki's clothes weird. well many ppl stared and gave her strange looks. but she's up to her usual punk-gothic-jappy-wadeva look. and i find it actually, rather tame.

ACES day was boring. the song was kung fu fighting! (haha)
but the dance/exerciseregime was rather boring. most of the classes did the same things, and to top it off, they were all rather messy. so we just watched and had a lil bit of fun at the gallery of the hall. i rather wanted to sleep for a large part of the aces day thingy, but i decided against it. (the floor wasnt exactly clean u c)

CONCERT:
boringly long. it would have been brilliant had they cut the concert to say, 1 n half hours. surprisingly, this time there were a lot of hip hop dancing. but its good. and some of the sec 2s are great. really quite cool man, those moves. ahahha, i wanna learn. but i've got the body and juz about as much grace as a robot. =) some of the performances were quite cool. i liked the tap dance. (that girl, whatever her name is, is v good.) hehe. and some other forgettable stuff. nvm. then there was this v funny game where prefects tested teachers on aspects of the school. tsk tsk, the teachers do not know the school AT ALL. tsktsk, and guess who the highest scorer who passed w one mark was: mr jeow, who isnt like ex sc or smthg. it was rather funny to see them being tested with the weirdest things imaginable like what's the chi name for pirates of the carribean. and more. but it was fun lah.

GIVING STUFF TO TEACHERS:
boy, this is so damn hard. i had to make 2 trips to the staff room, which was so packed with students and ex-students that i swear one could suffocate in there. and i had to squeeze past the huge crowd of ppl who were haphazardly lined and queueing up to meet so-n-so teacher and jostle my way thru. seriously. it is an amazing achievement. upon reaching my destination (which is the part of e staff room which is btwn e pigeonhole and the teachers' desks), i then had to yell at the top of my voice "MRS LEE" and "MR JOHARI". i do know that it's rather rude or whatever, but it is certainly the fastest, easiest and most efficient way one can deliver a present to a teacher concerned.

stuff for teachers
lao shi and mrs neoh: card, cushion, chocs and candles (all cs!)
ms beh, mrs lee and mrs logan: card and cute soft toy rose
mr johari: card, black book and mug
cikgu: card

HAIZ.

i swear nv, nv to go through so much trouble.

or at the very least, bring everything to the staff room so as to present everything to the teachers at one shot. i'll rmb tt nxt yr after i leave sc and come back to visit the teachers. oh man, this is my LAST YEAR HERE. boohoohoo.

woo hoo

long post!
