i really kinda regret this.. seriously..

my council campaign group is so slack i cannot believe it.. and that includes myself... where is all the spirit and drive and determination that i know is somewhere inside of me? WHERE.. omg i cannot believe i can be THIS SLACK... seriously slack tho i may be, it really isnt THAT BAD..shoot..

i really think it's such a shame and embarrassment to actually go up on stage and show such a crap video, and to give an almost impromptu speech to a crowd.. (WELL it isnt exactly cos i did think abt what to say). i know i can give a good speech and rally a crowd (at least i think i can).. but the crowd.. omg... so listless, restless and completely not paying attn at all... what cld we have done! sighh! at this rate, im nv gonna garner any votes from the ppl who don't know me... at least for ppl in my class and perhaps snr class, i think most will vote for us... i think even if it means going against what they feel abt who is the best and most capable of leading and serving.. coz from what i have presented, no such evidence of it exists. sighh i guess the only way we can salvage anything is to try smthg drastic.. smthg that will be memorable, smthg that can make ppl sit up and take notice, smthg lame and stupid, smthg really gimmicky. SIGHHH.

seriously. i think we shld do some gimmicks.. will think about it.

seriously i dunno whether i actually wanna get in or not. i DO to a certain extent, want to get in. but i wont be so sad and mope around if i dont. SIGH..

anyways in short,
give me this opportunity to serve you guys, to be part of the students' council.
vote for me and allow me to serve u all.
vote for me and my group members, eddie and jack.

oh man. i just realised my council campaign group is SLACK SLACK SLACK.

when ppl are sweating buckets over their videos, posters, banners and gimmicks, we HAVEN'T STARTED YET. YES, that is how slack we are.

and when we were supposed to be at jack's hse filming our vid, we ended up only planning a very vague plot of the video. we havent finalised anything at all. posters.. we intend to do tmr. banner, DAO. heck care it. too late liao, not possible to do... gimmicks, might end up daoing it i guess, unless we can think up of an easy-to-achieve and economical solution within er 3 days..?

and we ended up playing cards, mahjong and gossiping at jack's hse..

sighh.. have to chiong already..

seriously what was i thinking when i signed up for council? and to do it with a bunch of slack, playful ppl (me included, so there's nothing against u guys wahhaa), what made me think that we'll actually get anything done! SIGHH... haha.. and since we think council is really a popularity contest, we shall get in thru popularity, charisma and sheer luck =P *wahaha*

ahh i think i kinda like canoe.. the cca.. the sport.. the amazing wonderful team, the snrs, the jnrs (us la).. the camaraderie.. the bond..despite the hiongness.. despite the fact that i cant canoe very well (for now, hopefully)..

SIGH. i'll be very reluctant to give it all up if i really need to.

there might be a simple, clear soln at the end of the day. and perhaps all this thinking is completely uncalled for...

ahh. i dont know.

whee decided to change my template! got kinda tired of the other one! woohoo new look for now...



i'm kinda stuck in a dilemma now.. and the thing is, the problem hasn't yet surfaced. so actually no matter how much i think now, it will not make a difference. for the result of one is not out yet.. and hence i cant decide on the eventual choice i will make..

what shld i hope for. and what shld i choose?

shall not think too much.. there might be a very very simple and clear solution.. soon.

i went for huang cheng.

huang cheng was GOOD!

i must say that the entire performance was very professional. the set-up, various plays, actors and actresses, backstage crew.. all were very good.

all very professional. the amount of time put in, the efforts everyone put in. i can say all of them paid off, as a member of the audience on saturday 7.30pm. (and it's only sat.. the best performance usually on the last day rite.. which is tmr)

ahaha i think i kinda zhuan dao today. first half rite had to sit somewhat 2 levels above e stage.. so what i see is literally birds' eye view.. and everything looked so tiny. then after the interval, i saw yk op shermin larissa and hanny! (so cool rite, hvnt seen them for abt a month liao, save for yk la.) (then again, a month isnt tt long =P) and they had this free seat near them.. so i sat there! and they bought the 14 bucks tix! hehe =PP

the actors were very good!!!

and i think eileen did v well! great job man! too bad didnt get to see her bkstage.

and everyone else too... not forgetting everyone else..

ahaha i also realised quite a lot of ppl in my snr cls are in huang cheng (xuan chuan).. wahaha..

finally can catch up on my slp.. im seriously lacking it.. been falling aslp most of the time. SIGH i know i shldnt be slping in class, but it just happens. sometimes. usually. most of the time. i think i've slpt in more lectures than i have been awake in them. sighh.. must slp more.. (notice i didnt say earlier) =P

i hope to get the hc u soon. too bad cldnt get it during the hols.. i wanted to wash it 5 times since it apparently is waterproof initially.. ahaha. and the entire u is very stiff, very rough.. pretty much like a rice sack. colour too =P also intend to use drawstring, unless there is a better way to make the shirt appear tucked in when it actually isnt..

i need to pack my stuff too.. my folders contain notes from the very 1st lecture we had.. no wonder my bag feels extraordinarily heavy.. also need to replenish my stationary. everything running out. also need to mug. esp phys. sigh. have nt been paying attn, catch no ball most of the time. perhaps shld really change to bcme yea. or LIT GEOG CSC KI. MY FAVE COMBI. ahaha RIGHT.

yay and since the hols are here. i want a cls gathering.
i wanna go ubin cycle. or east coast
wanna watch movie. dreamgirls. if it's still playing. or any other nice ones coming up?
wanna go kbox.
wanna play more mahjong and bridge and all manners of card games.
watch stupid hana kimi, trying to resist for now. since i prob will be addicted if i start. and i HAVENT. congratulate me.

i just realised this blog is very very dead...

sigh

rather busy now so little time to update my blog. actually this is really an excuse.

most of the time i really have no idea what to say at all. sighh.

had fac cip on say. at some jamiyah nursing home. had to help the old folks there. taught them to make cny lanterns, which is also an eye opener for me coz i didnt know how to make the lanterns b4 =P the occupants are mostly malay and of coz i had to try converse with them in malay, which really brought to light the horrid standard of my malay. sigh =( 4 yrs down the drain. i found myself tongue tied at times, and had to resort to wild gesticulations. SIGH.

the cip was actually quite fun la. coz after a while, i found it erm (easier?) to interact with the old folks. and then later there was the performance (i must say, it was almost completely impromptu ahaha) which went off quite well actually. then there were games haha. and some catchy music playing in the background and some of us actually got quite high. ahahhaa. luckily for us there was erm, a "translator" ahhaha, coz most of the old folks know malay and almost none of us know malay. =P

must say the cip was quite meaningful. i hope we at least brought some joy to the old folks there.


yay im going to east coast park tmr! there's no sch tmr coz hc got gd a level results! and us get rewarded for the huge efforts put in by our snrs! yay! ahahaa... hope that hc can still maintain these kinds of standards.

and one more thing... still rather undecided on whether to join council. i think i will go campaign for it... just give it a shot and see how... and if i get in i'll think again. and i think i will campaign in a group. since doing it alone just seems so nerve-wrecking. and i'm not even famous or popular enough to even think of garnering lots of votes. ahahahah. or perhaps i shall leech onto someone really erm, high profile? which might help. ahahaha. ok la, i'm kidding.

ahaah and canoe also. frankly speaking, i'm actually to like it a bit =P

but wth la. see if can get into council first. not that easy. since we have like what 50 councillors and abt a 1000 plus in the cohort?
