haha decided to add more things abt my taiwan trip since there are really too many things... so read the previous post first b4 reading this.

this post is filled with random stuff. it so happens to be streams of consciousness. whatever i think of, i write down.
heh.

we went to ximending. must say it's really damn cool. it's like many streets and junctions, and the shops there mostly sell stuff for youngsters. they do have some really cool stuff. lots of shoes, clothes, accessories on sale. i wanted to buy a nice sport shoe but it so happened that my brother yangyang bought a pair of basketball shoes. some o'school basketball shoe called air jordan retro 1 that is no longer available from other shops. and amazingly it costs only abt $170. u think that is expensive huh. that idiot buys more expensive shoes than that on a regular basis.

plus the weather was super cool (as in really cool). we ate some ahzhongmianxian which is damn nice. it's meesua and pig intestines. i like.

betel nuts. hmm.. that is definitely an acquired taste. u have to get used to it. we tried some of it and if i may say out of the 4 of us sitting at the back only i managed to actually chew it beyond that initial weird taste. the rest buay tahan. well it is quite weird la. u chew it first and there's this burst of flavour (i dunno how to describe) that most ppl cannot tahan, (u know tt sort of grimace) and yang totally couldnt last beyond i think 2 bites. heh. also the binlangmei dressed until so sexy leh.. wah... cannot believe it. taiwan men are very se4. serious.

lucky for us
the weather was great there when we went. apparently few days b4 there was a han liu, some cold spell. but luckily kami/kita tidak kena. =)
we encountered smooth traffic most of the time.
the peacocks at the kong que yuan actually spread out their beautiful feathers (quite rare)
we didnt get fined by the police at some night market for stopping the coach for abt half a minute.
when we went to some place (can't rmb where), the guards were changing shifts and they had this elaborate ritual. methinks it's to detect imposters. very good camera time. i was thinking of trying to make them laugh. i didnt try though.
there was rain on the last day of the trip but it was so light it hardly mattered.
we managed to see the 101 in its splendour before the new yr eve celebration. but sadly we had to fly back that day. i want to stay another day then can see the fireworks and the stars and singers there. i watched on tv when we got back.

one unlucky thing tho. on the flight back, there was turbulence all the way. we still managed to play cards though. =)

lalala.

too beautiful ;
