i just realised this blog is very very dead...
sigh
rather busy now so little time to update my blog. actually this is really an excuse.
most of the time i really have no idea what to say at all. sighh.
had fac cip on say. at some jamiyah nursing home. had to help the old folks there. taught them to make cny lanterns, which is also an eye opener for me coz i didnt know how to make the lanterns b4 =P the occupants are mostly malay and of coz i had to try converse with them in malay, which really brought to light the horrid standard of my malay. sigh =( 4 yrs down the drain. i found myself tongue tied at times, and had to resort to wild gesticulations. SIGH.
the cip was actually quite fun la. coz after a while, i found it erm (easier?) to interact with the old folks. and then later there was the performance (i must say, it was almost completely impromptu ahaha) which went off quite well actually. then there were games haha. and some catchy music playing in the background and some of us actually got quite high. ahahhaa. luckily for us there was erm, a "translator" ahhaha, coz most of the old folks know malay and almost none of us know malay. =P
must say the cip was quite meaningful. i hope we at least brought some joy to the old folks there.
yay im going to east coast park tmr! there's no sch tmr coz hc got gd a level results! and us get rewarded for the huge efforts put in by our snrs! yay! ahahaa... hope that hc can still maintain these kinds of standards.
and one more thing... still rather undecided on whether to join council. i think i will go campaign for it... just give it a shot and see how... and if i get in i'll think again. and i think i will campaign in a group. since doing it alone just seems so nerve-wrecking. and i'm not even famous or popular enough to even think of garnering lots of votes. ahahahah. or perhaps i shall leech onto someone really erm, high profile? which might help. ahahaha. ok la, i'm kidding.
ahaah and canoe also. frankly speaking, i'm actually to like it a bit =P
but wth la. see if can get into council first. not that easy. since we have like what 50 councillors and abt a 1000 plus in the cohort?
