past few days were rather eventful with class chalet and fac outing.
class chalet was fun! ok of course it was, how could a chalet not be fun. anyway, i must say i am rather amused by the extreme disregard for time the class has. alright im always late myself (OK I APOLOGISE) so i'm not in any position to comment. our supposed meeting at 130 at harbourfront only materialised at about 3 (and me being one of the latest to arrive oops). haha. ok so after meeting up we took the monorail to sentosa which was rather cool since it's the first time i took the new nice revamped monorail haha. then after taking the tram and then walking for a while, we finally reached our destination, coasta sands resort (or smthg like that). alright must say i was rather disappointed with the room. it was so absurdly small (alright maybe not but we had abt 15 ppl?) and had this weirdish shape which made it worse.
at the chalet, we played cards. ohwell, of note was the asshole taidi game that i partook. hmm, suffice to say that this game can almost be renamed in my honour had i continued playing it. oh well i was a king once or twice ok! i started out being the king, and then it went downhill from there. self-fulfilling prophecy man. hmm and there was one particular game that must be mentioned. just thinking of it makes me want to weep. like a huge blow man. hahaha. ohwell i could have won the game in one shot (cos i had a diamond 3 and a wonderful set of cards) had it not been for weilun. omg. that was such a beautiful 5 four of a kind, how rare, how stunning and how lucky. to lay that down would have almost meant certain victory since the only cards left in my hand was a pair of jacks. and there had to be that freaking 6 four of a kind! man. heart attack! like WTH. AHHAHAA. that was such a beautiful set ok! been so long since i had such a lovely hand...
ahahahah ohwell. then bbq. shld have known judging by the number of plastic bags that we were carrying that we were bound to have excess food. bbq was fun... a little. and this kinda unearthed some culinary talents yea, longyi, jack eh... ahhahaha. girls are supposed to know how to cook right? nahh. but the girls did help ok! haha wadeva.
after the bbq it was rather late, but the night is still young. had to bathe downstairs at the communal toilet cos the room only had a toilet and it was not enough. some of us stayed in the room to play mahjong and cards (includes me) late into the night. till around 5 i guess, then we tried to go and slp. suffice to say that it wasnt very successful and i guess the slping positions were somehow rather awkward. HAHA. hmm then most of the others right, thinking that they were such brave souls, embarked on a night/haunted trail, which i have heard, did not go too well since they were too frightened to enter this very dark, small, cramped and misty place. (i would have already freaked out i think) so yea the other bunch of ppl managed to stay up the entire night! apparently played cards or went to the beach. for my sanity and well being i think slp is more impt. ahahaha
long post already. and i still havent gotten to fac outing yet.
so when the sun rose and it was bright and dandy (cloudy rather) we went swimming. once again got scolded for being in a tee. hmm then we went to the beach, which is almost my single objective for going to sentosa. got myself into a game of football with the guys, a game which i utterly suck at cos for one, i totally do not know how to play at all, and for two, i do not understand at all. so there i was standing around like an idiot, running around sometimes, and feeling very sleepy all the while. so after a while, i abandoned this fruitless game and wandered into the very inviting waters. WHEE I LOVE BEING IN THE SEA. it's so nice and warm (we're tropical yea)! i love the waves, how it slams into us... man i could just stay in the sea for ages. (cept that u get sand everywhere which isnt so nice)
after this then fac outing! (which on hindsight wasnt very fun or exciting or anything) had to leave sentosa lugging around my bag and that extremely heavy mahjong set around. (thanks chenyang for helping occasionally!) i think the best thing we did before fac outing was to take a random bus and slp for an hr before going to bugis... it did wonders.
fac outing was not bad! ok stardust was great! loved the premise and the storyline. =P im a sucker for most things fantasy i guess. ahahha.
hmm and the fac king and queen thing was fun too! they were all quite entertaining. must say i think the fac king and queen are very deserving of the title. HAHAHA.
ok that was nice. now i have to sleep!
